WA: Remains found on property could be missing woman

PERTH, Jan 17 AAP - Human remains found at a property north-east of Perth late yesterday
could be those of missing Alzheimer's sufferer Agnes Barrass, police said today.

A farmer came across the decomposed body in a dried swamp near Gin Gin, 84km north of
Perth, while checking his cattle yesterday afternoon.

The discovery was made about three km from 87-year-old Mrs Barrass' homestead, from which
she went missing after going for her usual walk on May 25 last year.
