Fed: Young Australians flocking to study ABS = 2

Family and Community Services Minister Jocelyn Newman said the rise in the number of
young Australians in education was proof of the success of the government's youth allowance.

"Today's ABS figures are further evidence that there is a pattern emerging," Senator Newman said.

"That is that young people are responding to the incentive to take up opportunities
for training and education beyond school years."
