Harris Bank Cary-Grove announced the promotion of Jeff Falconer of Cary to vice president of Commercial Banking. Falconer, who joined Harris in 1999, will be responsible for managing business banking relationships and providing financial solutions ranging from credit to cash management to business Internet applications. He is also a division co-chairperson for the United Way of McHenry's 2001 campaign.

Frank P. DeStefano of Cary was promoted to general merchandise manager, Beauty and Fashion, for Deerfield-based Walgreens Corp. DeStefano joined Walgreens in 1992 and has served as a pharmacy manager, category manager in Purchasing and, most recently, divisional merchandise manager for Pharmacy, Health & Wellness.

Engineering Enterprises Inc. in Sugar Grove announced the addition of Dan Breisch of Naperville, formerly of Gurnee, as a senior technician; Pat Lacy of South Elgin, formerly of Carpentersville, as a project technician; and Kris Pung of Willowbrook as project technician.

McHenry-based Condon Consulting Engineers P.C., a professional engineering services firm providing services to corporate and municipal clients, has named Jim Michel vice president of the New Lenox Corporation of Condon Consulting. In his new role, Michael will oversee all operations of the New Lenox office.

Eric Lorenz of St. Charles was awarded the associate degree by the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois Inc. The associate degree is one of the highest earned honors in recognition of service to the association.
